Make stuff don't break stuff.

So I've not been too active recently in the blogosphere, but that's the thing, if I'm not on the internet blabbering about doing this and that, it's because I am actually off doing the aforementioned 'this' a probably a whole bunch of 'that' too. So apologies to the peeps that may have been a-swinging by to check what's been a-happening recently.

Here's some evidence so y'all can see I've not been slacking :D

Been working on my sculpting recently. Working on something at the moment that I'm hoping to take a mould of and make a run of resin or vinyl figures. So look out for updates on that. In the meantime have a gander at the monster heads I made.

Also been getting back into watercolour painting a lil' bit. Heres a peak at a piece I have done for the Evil From the Needle 25th anniversary shindig. I call it 'Lazer Leopard Blasts Through the Forcefield'.

Sculpture, painting! All this as well as the usually drawing and tattooing? I know what you're thinking "Is this guy some kind of MACHINE?" and the answer is YES! I am. Well, part man, part machine. Underneath, I'm a hyper-alloy combat chassis, microprocessor-controlled. Fully armored; very tough. But outside, I'm living human tissue: flesh, skin, hair, blood.

No wait, that's not me. That's the Terminator.

Always getting those two mixed up.

In the wake of the success of the Edinburgh convention, (thanks to everyone that got tattooed, tried to get tattooed, took stickers and business cards or said nice things about my work)I will (along with fellow Evil From the Needle tat-zapper Antony Dickinson) be attending this years 4th Annual Liverpool International Tattoo Convention! This year the convention is being held at the Liverpool Adelphi Hotel over the weekend of the 14th/15th of May and is shaping up to be a gay old time. In a Flintstones theme song sense, not a homosexual sense. Although Fred and Barney did seem to spend a lot more time with each other than with their wives...

ANYWAYS, as of RIGHT NOW I am accepting pre-bookings for the show! Otherwise I will be doing walk-ups, but only pieces from specially prepared flash sheets. These sheets will also include a couple of the designs from the Edinburgh flash that didn't get done, so if you missed out in Scotland, Liverpool is your chance to get that tat of the retarded kitten covered in piss or the dribbling,buck-toothed hobo.

Monkey Magic!

Here's a sneaky peak at my new T shirt design that is in the works right now. Well, less of a sneaky peak and more full frontal nudity. The design is my interpretation of the old 'hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil' monkeys. Except in my version the poor monkey is having his ability to hear, see and speak abused by the little red fellow there with the horns. Evil, as well as being a fantastic life-choice, is also a reference to where I work in 'Evil From the Needle'.

Shirts will be available in white through a range of sizes from 'weasely crack head' to 'jabba and all the hutts'.
